MuralPix Wallpaper Changer is a program which automatically creates Windows wallpapers (background images) from selected JPEG images and change them in specified period of time.
Whether you have a digital camera (and a growing archive of photos on your hard disk) or an archive of images downloaded from internet, MuralPix may be an excellent tool for you to enjoy your photos while you are working and to make the humdrum Windows desktop nice-looking and permanently changing.
MuralPix Screen Saver makes a slide show from your images when you do not touch the PC for specified preriod of time. Images are changed with various transition effects.
MuralPix can be used in Windows 9x/ME/NT4/2000/XP.
MuralPix is distributed as a freeware, so you can use it free of charge (this applies for personal use only).
If you received the program on CD-ROM, the setup will be started after inserting the CD into the driver. If it does not start, locate the Setup.exe program and execute it.
If you downloaded MuralPix from internet or other source, you got MuralPix zipped into one file. Unzip it to a temporary folder, using for example PkZip, WinZip, or any other program supporting the ZIP format. If you are using built-in unzip facility in Windows ME/XP, be sure you really unzip all the files to another folder; running the Setup program directly from the ZIP archive will result in the program failure.
A set of files appear in the folder after unzipping; find the Setup.exe and run it. The Installation program will guide you through the rest of the installation. After installation the temporary folder can be deleted; the files in it are no more needed. MuralPix can be uninstalled by the uninstall program, available in menu Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs.
An uninstall program is supplied with MuralPix; this program is available in the "Add/Remove Programs" item in the Control Panel.
MuralPix is a freeware for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use must be authorized by the author of MuralPix, Zdenek Martinek.
